Field Trip Chaperones & Volunteers

Field trips are an important educational experience for your child and an extension of lessons being taught in the classrooms. At this time, RCS does not have adequate transportation for field trips and must rely on volunteers to help transport students to and from field trips.
 
A form for parents who wish to volunteer will be sent home during the first week of school. Forms are also available in the school office. Volunteers must submit and pay a fee ($8.00) for a background check as well as take a course in Children and Adolescents Protection Program (CAPP). The courses are offered on the third Wednesday of every month free of charge at Montgomery Catholic High School. Classes are also offered at Resurrection and St Jude’s Church by appointment. In addition, parent must present a valid driver’s license, proof of current automobile insurance, or any other required forms prior to the trip.
 
Volunteers should report to the school's main office to check in and out before picking up any students for field trips.
