Students in grades kindergarten through 7th will have a folder for each subject. Homework should be a reflection of the individual student's work. Parents and other tutors are advised to help a student who needs help understanding, not to complete the work for the student. When undue assistance is given, the teacher cannot accurately assess what the student does or does not understand.

Your child's graded work will be kept in a folder by your child's teacher at school. Feel free to contact the teacher for an appointment to review your child's work. 

Every aspect of our curriculum reflects our Catholic identity. Our curriculum decisions are based on the school's philosophy, mission, and Student Learning Expectations. Teachers and parents work together to build a strong sense of community, fostering the importance of enrichment for which we strive in our student's lives. A continuum of learning made throughout the curriculum has, at its core, the consistent teaching of skills and concepts throughout the grades. Students are encouraged to deepen their knowledge and understanding of each subject area from year to year, using sequential and progressive textbooks. Integrated curricular areas, such as family life, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, follow this same cyclical development.

The ongoing articulation among teachers, support staff, and administration ensures that our students continually receive a faith-filled, relevant, and practical education. The Alabama State Department of Education and the Diocesan Outcomes drive our planning in each subject area. We provide a curriculum that challenges and strengthens each student's level of achievement, constantly working towards fulfilling our philosophy of developing young people who recognize God's given gifts and talents in themselves and others and who continually strive to enhance and utilize these gifts for the benefit of all.

Report Cards
Each student will receive a report card at the end of each grading period (we are on a quarterly grading cycle), giving the grades for each subject in the curriculum.
